Ashraaf street is one of the most history packed streets of Old Cairo, a sibling of Moez street in terms of history and religious value.
the street is not a fully touristic place like Moez and Khal el Khalili but the kind people there are well aware of tourists and keen to show you around. It has a contrast of new and old cultures, ugly and majestic buildings. The area there has lots of irrelevant structures; pigeon towers next to an 600 year old mosque. A perfect place for street photography. All are shot by a Fuji XH-1
